I have quite a few different filters, for different areas of my life; since some people here are only here for the shamanism, others only for the PTSD, others only for the art, and some are here for everything, preferring a buffet over a set menu.
When I first started this journal, years ago; I used it to snark a lot. These days I don't snark as much. If you're one of those people who spends all your time talking about how much you love to hate, bitch and call people out on their shit when you don't like being called out on your shit; I'm probably not going to like you very much. But you never know. I like all sorts. But a vague warning is nobody's friend.

On spirituality.
I am a dedicated, practicing shamanist; I practice contemporary shamanism but I do not identify as a Core shamanist. I ramble about it in my journal from time to time. Actually I ramble about it everywhere; from time to time. In the Spheres of Light, Axis Mundi e-zine, on my own website, on forums, on other websites, in communities. I need a mute button or something.
I keep a website on my shamanism practices called Wildspeak. Here I also run a quiet, shamanism-oriented forum (as it turns out, most of the decent shamanism forums are quiet, go figure). Pagans welcome, pagan friendly people are welcome.
I draw a lot of animal totem pictures. It numbers in the hundreds.
On my lifestyle
I am open-minded and accepting of many differeny lifestyles, considering my own as a Childfree, kink-friendly, bi, poly, shamanist with PTSD and DID. Lol. I like the idea of accepting others on their own terms, as long as they're honest people. I like the idea of being accepted on my own terms, while I continue to be honest and conduct myself with integrity.
I have a Bachelor's degree in media studies and mass communications; from time to time (ha! Like once a year) I write about analysis, and so on in my journal. I plan on going back one day to complete a PhD, but it's a 'one day in the future' kind of thing, and not a 'right now' kind of thing. :)
I'm an artist! You might be here for my art. I do all sorts these days. Pastels, drawing... hmm, I thought that'd be a longer list. Oh well. I love art. It sings through me, and I try and do my best to give the images and energies that come to me justice. I also write fiction and non-fiction, lame-ass poetry (it's been published, but it doesn't stop it from being lame-ass), and I sing and play piano and basically am one of those multi-skilled creative types who makes no money off it all.

I have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) as a result of child abuse and rape. Fun! Recently I fired a previous therapist due to her boundary issues, and I'm seeing a sandplay therapist in Perth, and skyping to another therapist in the USA. I write about this sort of thing too. Currently having a lot of success with parts work, family systems therapy, brainspotting and general bodywork / CBT-type stuff. I'm not on any medications for this; though I have been. And if you tell me I should be 'over it' by now, I will bop you on the head with something heavy and lethal.
I have emetophobia, and a touch phobia (aphephobia / haphephobia) which affects my ability to be close to people. To anyone. It makes doctor's appointments a barrel of laughs (or is that monkeys? I can never remember). I dissociate. I am socially awkward and not, by any stretch of the imagination, an extroverted socialite. That said, I do love my friends, and I love to laugh.
